Our visitors stay with us primarily as we are a quiet countryside park being only a short distance from the coast/beach with excellent campsite facilities including spotlessly clean free showers, large grass pitches, gravel and grass hardstanding pitches plus free warm wetsuit and dog wash! The location of our touring caravan and camping site in the South West of Cornwall offers a short drive to our local 3.5 mile beach, easy access to the A30, Hayle, St Ives, Gwithian, Portreath, Porthtowan, Praa Sands all surfers paradise beaches, St Michaels Mount, Lands End, Minnack Theatre and all of the Southwest. Perfect site for a prefect getaway
What a camping site we recieved such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
The facilities were spotless, pitches were very spacious the shop maybe small but had very good stock and selection of items. The location was perfect for what we wanted it for.
This was our first visit to Cornwall and we will certainly be back would highly recommend this gem of a site 10 out of 10 from us

Just right
What a wonderful, quiet site this is ( considering we visited in August!) We were met with such a warm welcome by Dan and taken to our pitch. There are a few rules on site but this is what makes the site so nice. Pitches are a decent size although the fields are tiered. The toilets are always kept clean, the lady in the shop always waved and smiled. I can honestly say I’ve never been to such a friendly site as this one before. I doubt I’ll find a site quite like this one again, truly wonderful and one day I will return.

Wonderful experience from start to finish

We have just returned home from an 8night stay at this wonderful park. Cannot fault any aspect of the facilities, staff or pitches. Upon arrival we were greeted by Dan who showed us to our pitch, with a smile that I didn’t see leave his face for the duration of our stay!!

We stayed in a tent with electric hook up. We are a family of four with two small boys, both of who could safely play and explore the site as the 5mph speed limit is strictly enforced.

The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and well stocked. The lady who maintains them does an outstanding job and nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the site staff. The showers in the men’s and women’s facilities have adjustable heads which is great when showering children. In addition they have a unisex shower block and a family room. This is well equipped with a rainfall shower, adjustable shower, loo, sink with adjust tap head and baby changing table and bath!! You could not ask for more.

In the washing up area there are 6 sinks with draining boards, all under cover. There is also a fridge freezer and wetsuit/dog wash.

This is a quiet and beautifully kept campsite. Visitors are welcome until 10pm and then the site is quiet.

The site is perfectly situated for exploring much of Cornwall from Hayle to Lands End, there are lots of local places to eat within a short drive and the on-site shop is perfect for the forgotten essentials and fire wood!!

We have an amazing holiday and that is thanks to the facilities and helpful staff at Higher Trevaskis Park. We will, without doubt be returning. Thank you Dan and your wonderful team, from the Ward Family
