Covid-19 Sub Heading
Once we open, the safety of our guests, staff and the community remains paramount. We have been guided by the BH&HPA (British Holiday & Home Parks Association) to put in place procedures to help protect us all against the spread of Coronavirus ( Covid – 19). With this in mind we have made a very difficult decision to close our Ladies and Gents toilets. We have not taken this decision lightly but feel it is necessary for the safety of staff and everyone on the campsite.
UPDATE: With figures decreasing as they are, we will be reopening our amenities block fully on Saturday 15th of August 2020.
We will also be opening the campsite with reduced numbers helping support local businesses, whilst hopefully making sure all medical services and our 1 main hospital in Cornwall can cope.
For everyone with a tent/camper van booking in place, not having the ladies & gents open may cause concern, we suggest obtaining a portaloo to service toilet requirements (there will be no extra charge for a toilet tent this season). We are opening our unisex showers for a limited time during the day, 10am until 2pm (these facilities will be managed by us ensuring they are disinfected after each use) and evening 4pm to 7pm. We ask, where possible, customers with self contained units avoid using the unisex showers to ease with the demand.
All customers with bookings taken before lockdown will be offered the chance to rearrange their holiday for 2021 (carrying forward the deposit already paid) or a full refund of monies.
Pitch Up customers – We are happy to transfer bookings to 2021 otherwise refunds will need to be applied directly through pitchup.com
Any campers wishing to change an existing booking are asked to contact us as soon as possible.
We know that lots of you will have been affected by the Corona Virus and our thoughts are with you all.
